ABOUT THE COURSE
WHAT THIS COURSE INCLUDES
Under the Private Security Industry Act 2001, a security officer (also known as a manned guard) is responsible for protecting premises, people, and property from unauthorised access, theft, damage, or harm.
EU Security Training’s Security Guard Training course prepares you with the essential knowledge and skills required to work in this role and apply for an SIA Security Guard licence. The role typically involves maintaining a visible presence, patrolling sites, monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding to incidents and emergencies.
Security officers play a vital role in preventing crime and ensuring public safety, and are recognised as part of the wider policing family. Our training equips you with the practical skills, legal understanding, and confidence needed to carry out these responsibilities effectively.
